GT New Years Tournament - Posted on 1/7/09
School is back for the spring semester and to kick off the new year the Georgia Tech Racquetball Club will be hosting a tournament for Tech students. The tournament will be on Saturday, January 17th from 9 AM - 6 PM.
There will be a t-shirt for all tournament entrants, as well as complementary snacks and beverages. Also, winners from each division will win free racquetball gear donated by ProKennex.
The tournament will initially be broken into two divisions: one general division and one for advanced players. The Advanced Division will have 8 players in a single elimination format. The general division will have 32 players with the losers of the first round dropping into a third division. In total, there will be 3 final divisions: Advanced (8 players), General-I (16 players, and General-II (16 players).
